    Easy working?

Most of us spend a considerable percentage of our working life in offices. While offices with small rooms for a few staff or for the lucky few your own office, are no longer the standard in the west, that is different in countries in Asia or the subcontinent. The open-plan office is detested by many and sharing offices is becoming more popular.
So what do you see? And what sort of office environment do you prefer to work in? A traditional office perhaps? Something that looks like Starbucks or something else completely?

Check this https://www.distrii.com.sg/about-distrii to see how this company has organized their co-working space in Singapore.

    Easy living

Home is where the heart is, but most of us still want to make our house into a home. Follow the link about ikigai – a japanese concept describing what fulfills us – and how designers are use that concept.
Most cultures have these sort of principles; the Danes have hygge and in The Netherland everybody knows the concept of gezelligheid.

How does that work in your country? We welcome your ideas, links and feedback. Let us know what you think.

    Bikes

Bikes are great for short distances and now we have e-bikes slightly shorter distances as well. In many cities in Europe and Asia more and more people (re-)discover the bicycle as a great mode of everyday transportation.
Don’t take just any bike though.. even in bicycles there are many brands, styles and types on the market. Check this producer for instance; a bold design and great comfort https://www.vanmoof.com/en_us/

    Candles anyone?

The atmosphere in a home, hotel lobby or even a washroom is not only determined by objects and materials. Light and scent have always been important but were mostly a by-product. Despite scent sticks, dispensers and what have you, candles remain most important to give light, scent and in the process create an atmosphere for any type of room.

    Coffee, food and more

We all go out for a coffee or tea now and then. In certain cities that is more of a habit than in others… in Singapore it’s become an art: people work in coffeeshops, job interviews and business meetings are held in outlets and schoolkids park themselves there for days to do their homework.
Many a co-working space resembles a Starbucks more than an office; indicating an – assumed? – preference of the modern day employee for a working environment that doesn’t look like a traditional office.
The Providore in OUE brings that to a new level – although it’s located in the basement of the newly opened multi-functional building. Find more here https://www.theprovidore.com/downtown - have a look.

    Style and fashion

Fashion is temporary, style is timeless. That’s also how we approach our stays; we have no intention to be the latest fad, but we do want our guests to enjoy their stay in style.

Not only the rooms, common areas, kitchens and garders breathe style, also in decorations, lights and overall atmosphere we’re looking for that bit of extra that makes our guests feel special
