The Start and Stuff we Like

​We’ve been toying with the idea to start a Bed & Breakfast for a long time. This year we’re making the plans and we hope to finally open next year. We’ll do 2 things: we’ll refurbish our first house and start the concept. At the same time we will build the website, share our experiences, get feedback and work towards a final look and feel of what we have in mind. And improve.
So although we haven’t found the first location yet we can start with defining our style. So let’s share some sites and stuff we like.
First and foremost we have of course the irreplacable Tyler Brule – founder and genius behind Monocle. In many ways Monocle – the magazine, the minute, maybe less so the shops – inspire a quality of life, a looking and longing for a human dimension, a modern touch yet with respect for tradition and craftmanship that we – The Neighbour – share.
